current events on campus and within the community.

· Wine Experience 2000 – 30 American wineries participated. Stephen Durfee of the French Laundry in
Napa was guest chef. David Reynolds was the celebrity auctioneer and Otto Duecker was the featured
artist. A cheese tasting event was added. The event netted $240,000

- Oklahoma State University Graduate Symposium Poster Presentation : The Impact of Utilizing Social Communication and Media with iGeneration International English Language Learners (Awarded: 1st Place)
- "Globalization and Technology: Moving to the Next Level of Diversity" - Addressed student development issues and the implementation of international/intercollegiate service learning projects to foster student growth and development.
- "Diversity in Higher Education" – Assessed the diverse people groups and programs implemented in the realm of North America’s institutions of higher education; including issues such as, history of diversity in education, socioeconomic class, professoriate diversity, gender, race, and foreign-born student population.
- International Student Orientation - Facilitated learning opportunities for international students preparing to study in the United States. Focusing on the basics of the English language and inter-personnel communication skills to be used while living in the Untied States.
- ESL (teaching practicum) - Instructed students on the necessary skills to communicate various English language phrases and components effectively.
- International Conflict Resolution – Discussed multifaceted options that aim to resolve conflict and prevent violence, and to help conflicting parties understand their differences and act on their commonalities.
- Anger Management Skills – Discussed important factors related to stress and anger in the workplace and at home and how to deal with them appropriately.
- Generational and Gender Communication – Discussed skills needed in the workplace to communicate effectively across generations and effectively dispel gender bias.
